1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and OMFED — The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Ltd. ("OMFED", "we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the KheeraSetu mobile and web applications and related services (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• The Services are intended for members and staff of participating dairy cooperative societies and federations, and others authorised by them.
• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• Accounts may be created or assigned to you by your cooperative society or federation. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. The Services

KheeraSetu helps record milk collections, capture quality measurements, calculate payments and provide a voice-assisted, language-friendly experience for dairy cooperative participants. The features available to you depend on your role and on the arrangements between us and your cooperative or federation. We may add, change or remove features from time to time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose.
• Enter false, misleading or manipulated collection, quality or payment data.
• Access accounts, data or parts of the system you are not authorised to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, probe or compromise the security or integrity of the Services.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with other users' use of the Services.

5. Records & payments

KheeraSetu is a tool to record and reconcile dairy transactions. The actual collection, pricing, payment and settlement of milk dues is administered by your cooperative society and/or federation in accordance with their rules and applicable law. We provide the software that records and presents this information but are not a party to, and do not guarantee, the underlying commercial or payment arrangements between you and your cooperative. While we strive for accuracy, recorded figures should be read together with your society's official records.

6. Voice assistant

The voice assistant is provided to make the Services easier to use. It relies on automated speech-recognition and language technologies and may not always interpret input perfectly. You are responsible for confirming the accuracy of any action taken through the assistant. Use of voice features is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including the KheeraSetu name, logo, software, design, text and other content (excluding data you or your cooperative provide), are owned by or licensed to OMFED and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the Services without our written permission.

8. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party platforms (for example, cloud hosting, app stores, speech-recognition and AI providers). Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their availability or content.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OMFED and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Suspension & termination

We, or your cooperative/federation, may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, including for breach of these Terms, suspected misuse, or where required by the cooperative's governance. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
