Delete your KheeraSetu account

1. Overview

KheeraSetu is operated by OMFED — The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Ltd. This page explains how users of the KheeraSetu mobile app can request account deletion, in line with Google Play's account-deletion requirements.

When your deletion request is approved, we schedule automatic removal of your account and associated personal data from our active systems within 90 days of the request date. You do not need to follow up — deletion runs automatically once the request is verified.

2. How to request deletion

You can request account deletion using either method below:

Option A — On this website

Fill in the form below with the name and phone number registered on your KheeraSetu account. Your request is saved to our backend and personal data is automatically removed within 90 days.

Option B — By email

If you cannot access the app, use the form on this page or email us directly at omfed@yahoo.com with the subject line KheeraSetu account deletion request.

Include:

• Your full name as registered in the app
• The phone number linked to your account
• Your cooperative society or union name (if known)
• A brief statement that you want your account and personal data deleted

3. What happens after you request

1. Verification — We verify that the request comes from the account holder or an authorised representative. We may contact you using the phone number or email on file.
2. Account deactivation — Once verified, your account is deactivated and you will no longer be able to sign in.
3. Automatic deletion within 90 days — Your account and the personal data listed in Section 4 are automatically scheduled for deletion from our systems within 90 days of the verified request date. No further action is required from you.
4. Confirmation — Where possible, we will notify you by SMS or email when deletion is complete.

During the 90-day period, your account remains deactivated and is not accessible for normal use. This window allows cooperative societies and OMFED to complete any required internal reconciliation before personal identifiers are permanently removed.

4. Data that will be deleted

After the 90-day period, the following data associated with your account is permanently deleted from our active systems:

• Your account profile (name, phone number, login credentials and role)
• Device identifiers and push-notification tokens linked to your account
• Voice-assistant interaction logs tied to your user profile
• In-app preferences and notification settings
• Any other personal identifiers stored solely to operate your individual account

5. Data that may be retained

Some information may be kept after account deletion where required by law, cooperative governance, or audit obligations. This may include:

• Aggregated or anonymised records — Milk collection and payment figures that no longer identify you personally may remain in cooperative and federation records.
• Legal and audit records — Information we are required to retain under applicable law, tax rules, or cooperative by-laws.
• Security logs — Minimal system logs retained for fraud prevention and security, stored only as long as necessary.

6. Submit a deletion request

Enter the details registered on your KheeraSetu account. Your request is submitted to our Firebase backend and scheduled for automatic deletion after 90 days.
